Fairleigh Dickinson University The Dreyfuss Plaza at Fairleigh Dickinson University is a large, shaded gathering place in the academic quadrant of the Florham Park campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University. The plaza is centrally located between two academic buildings, the state-of-the-art recreation center, and the Dreyfuss Theater. It provides a comfortable and attractive place for students to gather and socialize between classes, and a welcoming place for visitors. Characterized by large old shade trees, gracious new paths, beautiful paving, simple and elegant plantings, plenty of seating on the curving seat wall and period benches, and well-placed decorative light fixtures. The radiating design incorporates the architecture of the Recreation Center into the Olmstedian character of the rest of the campus.
