Bruce John Davies, ASLA, PP, LEED AP, President
A Professional Landscape Architect and Professional Planner with over 34 years of diverse experience, Bruce John Davies has a broad background in his profession. Mr. Davies believes in collaborating closely with clients, architects, engineers and contractors to bring out the best in each project’s potential.
Mr. Davies received his B. S. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology School of Architecture and Planning. He is the current State Trustee and a Past-President of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. He is a Certified Landscape Architect and Professional Planner in New Jersey, and a Registered Landscape Architect in New York, Maine and Pennsylvania. He has taught design and construction courses as a Visiting Lecturer for the Landscape Architecture program at Cook College, Rutgers University. He has also served on the Advisory Board of the Department of Landscape Architecture at Cook College. He is a member of Grace Episcopal Church, in Madison, NJ.
Mr. Davies’ experience includes site planning for major universities and corporate facilities, urban parks and recreation projects and fine landscape designs for residences. He was the project landscape architect and lead designer for a 96-acre Campus Master Plan for Eli Lilly and Company’s World Corporate Headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana. Some of his recent projects include campus designs for Kean University and Fairleigh Dickinson University, park designs for the Somerset County Park Commission, athletic field and playground designs for Madison and Florham Park, New Jersey, and downtown improvements for Livingston, NJ, Spring Valley, NY, and Chatham, NJ. He has also designed landscapes for many fine residences in New Jersey and Corporate Campus landscape designs for clients such as Sprint and Prudential. Other projects include major reconstructions of New York City Parks, campus planning and athletic facilities for schools, large scale land planning studies, and government and institutional site designs. Recently the firm has prepared Landscape Designs for Baltusrol Golf Club, Crestmont Country Club, and Brooklake Country Club.
He has served as an expert witness in court, and has testified numerous times before Planning Boards, Boards of Adjustment, and Township Councils. Bruce is a LEED AP, an accredited professional through the United States Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).
